Had council chalet yesterday! I counted a total of 28 councilors present and that was a lot more than I expected so yay! Well at first we played a game called pig which is something like heart attack but without the shouting. Haha. Then I went to play bridge with min, Hannah and Malcolm. Then Hannah and I went to barbeque! This is the first barbeque I've been to where everyone's so enthusiastic about helping out so I didn't have to stand at the pit the whole time. Like true councilors! (:
After a while I had to go discuss the grad night emcee script with Melvin and geri. So anti climax. Anw after we were done min and coll came up to ask if any of us wanted to go take a walk to OCH (that's old Changi Hospital) which is said to be haunted. So Melvin started to tell stories about his and other people's past experiences during night walks. In the dark. Cos he said if they couldn't take this now how will they dare to walk to OCH. Haha. Soon all of us were sharing stories of night walks and camps which was really nice. To me that's the whole point of having gatherings, sit down with a couple of good friends and catch up so it was really enjoyable. (:
I left at 9.30 with Jordan and Zelda. We started talking about commendation (gosh) on the bus and it brought back memories again! Especially cos I sat next to Zelda, most of my commendation experiences were with her. So it felt good talking to her again. And thanks Jordan! You're either super irritating or super helpful. I prefer it when you're being helpful. Haha. Yes and I hope everything will be resolved soon!
Oh cheam forgot my name (I wasn't sure whether he was being serious or just joking. He should be joking) and was like "are you melody or Melissa? Always call you mel then now can't remember is it melody or Melissa." Soon almost everyone was calling me Melissa, especially cheam and chris. So childish! When I was saying bye to everyone cheam burped super loudly in my face to say goodbye and chris was shouting bye Melissa! Oh my gosh high already. Haha.
Anw I was going to amos' house cos he invited gerry and I to share his birthday cake. And it turned out to be a super eventful night.
Next time I tell someone I'm waiting for them, I won't go off and try to find them myself. On my way back amos msged to tell me to msg him when I was reaching so he and gerry could come and pick me up. And so I did. But within about 10 seconds of waiting, I got impatient (wow right? Haha. Well that's just me) and called amos. He didn't answer. Neither did gerry. So I assumed that the both of them were watching tv at an awfully loud volume and I thought I would just head over to amos' house myself.
On the way I called and msged the both of them a few times but still no answer. I sat down at his block and seriously looked like some angsty teen who just ran away from home. Haha. After waiting like 15 minutes I decided to go home. Halfway home amos called me. It turned out that both he and gerry were waiting at the bus stop all along WITHOUT their hand phones. Wow. Of all days they had to leave their phones behind it had to be the day I decided to act smart. Haha.
Anw pungollians are officially crazy. After singing amos his birthday song and making a (long) wish, instead of blowing out his candle, amos tried sucking to put out the candle, on gerry's word. But the candle didn't go out.
Amos: it doesn't work!
Gerry: yes it does! You just gotta suck harder.
Haha. So funny! Then at about 11.45pm I had to leave. Amos walked me home. And something super freaky happened. I was telling amos about the councilors going to OCH and I was saying "OCH is suppose to be haunted!" The minute I said the word haunted all the street lights around us went out. I SCREAMED and amos started laughing. Oh my gosh how freaky was that?! I was super freaked out and wanted to run. For your information the lights didn't come back on.
Anw amos walked me all the way to my front door (yay so nice right? "I finish a job properly." Haha) and he was telling me we should set up a 'punggol fund' and buy cluedo! Haha. I told him if gerry's up for it then I'm in too. See I told you punggollians are crazy.
Oh btw amos said that this year was his best birthday. Yay! HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMOS! Though I doubt you're gonna read this but still... I love my punggollians! (:
I was supposed to have a meeting with ms lee, Melvin and loi today to discuss our emcee script. I woke up at 9.15 and was so ready to leave the house at around 10 (I took so long cos I was helping my dad photocopy some stuff) when I took my phone off the charger and realised I got a msg from Melvin. He said the meeting was cancelled cos ms lee wasn't feeling well. Not that I minded that but then I saw the time that Melvin sent me the msg and it was at 9.20! If only I had checked my phone earlier then I wouldn't have changed or tied my hair and could have gone straight back to bed. Oh wells...
So I ended up watching tv almost the whole day. I tell you there is NOTHING good on tv in the morning. I think I ended up watching justice league and mtv. Haha. Then I watched how to lose a guy in 10 days. Pretty boring so don't watch it unless you, like me, are ultra bored and have nothing better to do. Haha. Then after that I went to take a nap. It's amazing that I made it till night. Haha.
Do you ever get strangers leaving you messages on your friendster account asking whether you can be friends? I know that's probably the whole point of friendster in the first place but I just think it's so weird to make friends that way. Haha. I don't mind if it's my friend's friend but I see how we're linked and it's like woah, you're my friend's friend's friend's friend! Haha. Ok I'm sorry I just find it super weird so yeah sorry for not replying your messages! You can add me if you want. Haha.
Gosh I've been super busy (with council) that I have absolutely no time to go shopping! Even my mum keeps asking me when I'm going out to buy clothes. Cos she knows I'm super picky when it comes to clothes so she actually encourages me to go shopping. Haha. Now I need to get a retro outfit for grad night as well. Does anyone wanna go shopping with me? (:
It's amos' birthday tmr! HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY IN ADVANCE AMOS! (: He called me this afternoon to discuss our class gathering and he told me that peilian and Chandra wished him happy birthday a day in advance and when he told them, peilian blamed me! I don't remember telling her anything about amos' birthday. Oh well. Thanks a lot peilian. Haha.
Ok I realise that I get emotional pretty easily these days. I just have a lot on my mind, so much so that sometimes it just gets too overwhelming for me. Really wanna thank those who have been there for me. Thank you dearies. (:

I was supposed to have a meeting with ms lee, Melvin and loi today to discuss our emcee script. I woke up at 9.15 and was so ready to leave the house at around 10 (I took so long cos I was helping my dad photocopy some stuff) when I took my phone off the charger and realised I got a msg from Melvin. He said the meeting was cancelled cos ms lee wasn't feeling well. Not that I minded that but then I saw the time that Melvin sent me the msg and it was at 9.20!
